Where It all started
Hi my name is Chris van der Sandt, owner of Crosst Over Video. I have always been so captivated by gadgets and technology, meeting new people etc, etc. It all started when I was The Youth Co-ordinator at a Local church, and I was leading a Praise and Worship band that went on tour to the Eastern Cape. We called ourselves Crosst Over. Later on I performed at a couple of churches leading worship where the name changed to my ministry, CROSST OVER MINISTRY. Further down my path I worked for a Multimedia Production Company, and we taught kids to make mini video productions (we started Multimedia clubs in schools). Through business decisions that fell through, I decided to focus on Wedding Videography. I joined up with one of my friends and I really learned a lot from the wedding business (from both sides). Then at one stage it was decision time again - do I want to continue or do I want to start my own Little Video Production Company hence Crosst Over Video began. Someone once used the following - "if you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got." Words I really want to live by - doing new things always looking for new ideas and not to get caught up in the same old traditions.
I want to capture the moments you can view over and over again. Moments to share with family and friends for years to come.
